Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Legally have a Civil Partnership Ceremony In Spain?

Marriage for gay men and lesbian women is now legal in Spain and many couples are at last able to show their love and commitment for each other.
Under Schedule 20 of the Civil Partnership Act 2004, any ceremony you hold in Spain which is recognised as a legally binding civil partnership ceremony will be recognised as such in the UK.

Is The Civil Partnership Legally Recognised In The UK?

See answer above.

Is It Possible To Marry In A Church?

Unfortunately, you will not be able to hold your civil partnership ceremony in a church, however it is likely that we would be able to provide a church minister who would be happy to attend your ceremony in one of our beautiful locations and provide you with the spiritual element that you may require.
The Civil Partnership Act, at this stage, does not recognise any element of religious union. However, this may change in the future.

We Have A Limited Budget.  Can You Arrange A Simple Civil Partnership?

Yes, all our ceremonies are bespoke and therefore designed to suit your budget however large or small.
